Back in the day, like in the scenarios in the movie, our fathers would wake up early in the morning, wait for his pet dog to fetch the newspaper dropped by the newspaper boy in front of the porch of his house, he then takes it to the breakfast table, opens it to read on the latest news, events, business and sports. and you’d usually read ads on the latest products or offers on these printed paper; but that was before…

In today’s modern social-media era with 7.2 billion people: 3 billion people are active internet users and nearly 2.1 billion have social media accounts. 3.65 billion amongst these are mobile users, which also have access to the internet via their smartphones or their tablets. Due to the more affordable wireless network and a faster network connection, people had resorted to this mode of staying-up-date with the current trends and events apart from the still effective traditional newspapers and print ads.

However, being a business owner, what are you doing to adapt to this, to get your fare share of your current online leads?


I am Michelle Rollom, A graduate of BSBA Major in Marketing and Advertising.

I graduated college in the year 2013.  Had my first job as a marketing in the same year. In 2015, I transferred to a new company and then finally in the year 2016, became a full time freelance consultant.

I have an experience with traditional marketing, events marketing and digital marketing, but digital marketing stood up – I really love doing digital marketing, that is why I am pursuing the path.


I was first hired by SPPI the same year I graduated from college as their marketing assistant, but my main task is to handle their social media sites – this is where I actually got to be a digital marketer in the making.

In 2016, I transferred to TNC to be their Digital Officer – my main task is to make sure that their online presence is in tip-top shape.

But since there is a growing demand for online media marketing, I have decided to do what I truly love and have the opportunity to handle my own schedule, but focusing on one thing, to provide a more affordable and effective marketing service to the business owners in the Philippines and Abroad.


I was recognized by the whole SPI across the globe for my unique content strategy.


I was able to raise their online sales drastically.
